SPONSORED CONTENT – Mobility is no doubt a hot spot in the market, but solution providers have been largely cut off from a portion of that business – the actual mobile service sale.
But Ingram Micro Canada believes that now that it’s signed up all of Canada’s “big three” mobile telcos, that doesn’t need to be the case anymore.
We caught up with Ingram Micro Canada general manager Mark Snider at the distributor’s Mississauga, Ont. headquarters to discuss the company’s play in mobility, where it’s been, and where it’s going.
Snider also touches on smoothing out the potential challenges in solution provider/carrier interaction, how VARs can double their margins on some hardware sales, what Ingram’s doing to make the recurring revenues nature of mobile service sale more accessible to VARs’ sales reps, and where he expects the mobility business to go heading into 2012.
