Amidst a resurgent PC market, innovation in the print space on both managed print and 3D printing fronts, and the continued rise of converged infrastructure in the data centre market, HP had a big year in 2014 even if judged by just one story — the company’s decision to split itself into two separate, but very large, tech vendors. And 2015 promises to be equally interesting, as much of this year will be spent on the road towards the creation of HP Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise.
