Jamf sees strong results from new channel program

Marc Botham, Vice President, Global Channel Sales at Jamf.

Jamf,  which is used to manage and secure Apple at work, has shared key success metrics of its new Global Partner Program. The program was launched in August 2024 to accelerate the growth of Jamf’s channel partners and managed service providers. Twelve months later, the program is delivering measurable results.

So what has the new program done? First, since implementing the Global Partner Program, Jamf has streamlined partner-led deal registrations, allowing for real-time visibility into status, progress and upcoming renewals. This helps Jamf partners to engage more effectively with customers, and already shows up in key performance metrics.

There has been an over 50% YoY increase in partner-driven deal registration. As a result of new investments in channel, Jamf has seen a boost in deal registration through its channel network.

The number of partners in the program has more than doubled. This is quite broad in its composition. More resellers, carriers, MSPs, and system integrators have joined the program in the first twelve months of its launch, expanding Jamf’s global reach.

“Our channel partners bring invaluable knowledge and resources that enhance the customer experience, accelerate adoption, and drive long-term success for businesses,” said Marc Botham, Vice President, Global Channel Sales at Jamf. “Introducing more customers through the channel allows us to scale more effectively while ensuring those customers receive localized expertise and dedicated support from our trusted partners.”

Jamf continues to be a strong channel-first business with partner-driven ARR representing over 60% of Jamf’s total ARR.

“Relationships are everything in the channel,” Botham said. “If you take feedback on board and act on it, you’re far more likely to see the same partners and customers coming back, time and time again. The key to success in the channel is standing out from the crowd.”

Jamf’s channel success globally has allowed Jamf to scale faster and serve its customers more effectively through its trusted partner ecosystem. Jamf works with some of the world’s largest MSPs and resellers, including CDW, SoftCat, BT, SHI and 7th Sense. They also just inked a major distribution deal.

“I am thrilled to announce our latest distribution partnership with Exclusive Networks, a global cybersecurity specialist across the UK and Ireland,” Botham stated. “This partnership further enhances our UK Channel presence and leverages Exclusive Networks deep cybersecurity expertise and partner ecosystem to help further scale Jamf’s reach and market growth in the region.”

SHI is one of the larger partners who is pleased by the changes.

“Many transformational things are happening at Jamf right now, and it’s an exciting time to be a partner,” said Kevin English, Senior Director of Modern Workplace Services at SHI. “With changes to the partner program, a more consolidated channel, and new executive leadership, Jamf is creating an ecosystem more aligned with growth and innovation.

“These shifts position us to deliver even more value to our customers, and I fully expect my business to double or even triple in the next two years as a result,” English added.

“As an MSP, we work with countless vendors, but Jamf stands out as a true partner,” said Anoush d’Orville, CEO at Advisory Solutions. “Their platform is the one-stop shop for macOS management and security, but what truly sets them apart is their ongoing investment in supporting MSPs. Tools like PartnerHub provide the infrastructure we need to navigate every stage of the sales and client support cycle, making our jobs easier and more effective.”

D’Orville emphasized that the pluses are more than just the improved tools.

“Beyond the technology — and most importantly for us — their MSP and channel team is deeply invested in our success, offering an unmatched level of support and collaboration,” d’Orville added. For such a large company, they remain incredibly responsive, and we consistently see the impact of our partnership in real time.”

The Jamf Global Partner Program reaches partners in over 70 countries worldwide. The program leverages a points-based system that rewards partners and equips them with the necessary resources they need to grow their businesses while helping organizations of all industries and sizes to succeed with Apple. Jamf’s Partner Hub is the “one-stop shop” for Jamf’s partner community, offering them the ability to monitor deal registration status, check on upcoming customer renewals, complete training certifications and a host of other co-selling functionality.
