Dell kicks off CES releases with reconceptualized 2-in-1 Latitude with 24 hours of battery life

Dell has multiple announcements coming at next week’s CES show, but they decided to drop this one early. The new Latitude 7400 2-in-1 is not as sexy as some of the announcements coming next week, but for Dell’s commercial market partners and customers, it will be the most important.

Okta touts Canada’s new strategic importance with opening of new Toronto office

Identity management vendor Okta officially opened their new Toronto offices Wednesday, a four story facility where many of the employees are part of a large Toronto-based engineering team. Okta used the launch to highlight their commitment to Canada, and a Toronto non-profit that is receiving a grant from their Okta for Good program.

Okta adds free solution, and path to password-free future

The OneApp free solution is part of Okta’s long-term plan to be the de facto identity layer in any software. Okta ThreatInsight, available later this year, will replace passwords by using contextual information about users, devices and networks to assess threats.
