2013 will be remembered as the year Cisco began its “Internet of Everything” campaign in earnest, grabbing headlines and imaginations with details of how it sees ubiquitous Internet connectivity amongst machines and systems driving trillions of dollars of productivity gains.
Nitin Kawale, president of Cisco Canada, joins the ChannelBuzz.ca New Year’s Podcast Series to discuss the year that was 2013 for Cisco. Along with the new big-dollar target market, it was momentous for Cisco in Canada other things, including the networking vendor’s big deal with the Ontario government near the end of the year. Kawale discusses that and more, and looks forward to how he sees the technology world taking shape in 2014.
