
The moves include the reabsorption of the Relyenz division within CharTec, and the repurchase of the major investment ConnectWise had in CharTec, although the latter does not impact CharTec’s strong partnership with ConnectWise.
Identity management vendor Okta officially opened their new Toronto offices Wednesday, a four story facility where many of the employees are part of a large Toronto-based engineering team. Okta used the launch to highlight their commitment to Canada, and a Toronto non-profit that is receiving a grant from their Okta for Good program.
Cohesity has doubled the amount of dollars allocated to their partner program, with new perks like rebates for sales to very large customers and formalized and expanded MDF. They have also established a model for service providers within the program, which provides mechanisms like consumption-based pricing suited to this business model.
The 2018 version of the Institute, which should be all online by the September-October timeframe, has five series – three persona-oriented ones for manager/owners, salespeople and marketing, and two topic-focused on security and backup.
The existing strong technical integration between Gigamon and FireEye has been extended to make the joint solution much more turnkey for partners. More enablement and sales tools are being provided, along with new incentives for selling the joint solutions, and new joint integrations for partners are also coming.
