Illumio, Kyndryl collaborate to contain breaches and drive Zero Trust adoption

Todd Palmer, Senior Vice President of Global Partner Sales and Alliances at Illumio

Breach containment vendor Illumio has launched a new collaboration with Kyndryl, the huge  information technology infrastructure services provider created when IBM spun their infrastructure services business into another company in 2021. Its purpose is to help organizations reduce cyber risk, strengthen resilience, and speed Zero Trust adoption. Combining Illumio AI-powered breach containment with Kyndryl Microsegmentation Implementation Services delivers a scalable solution for Zero Trust, which helps reduce the spread of cyberattacks, minimizes business disruption, and improves resilience.

Illumio Insights, a core component of the Illumio Platform, is powered by an AI security graph. Insights ingests and analyzes cloud-scale network data, delivering real-time visibility into traffic and risks. With this technology, Kyndryl can support the deployment of proactive microsegmentation and provide comprehensive managed services to customers, helping to deliver smarter, faster breach containment in environments at scale. By turning massive volumes of telemetry into clear, actionable intelligence, Illumio Insights helps customers reduce dwell time, limit blast radius, and improve compliance with confidence. Combined with Illumio Segmentation, organizations can isolate workloads and applications to contain breaches more effectively. By integrating these capabilities into its broader cyber resilience and managed services portfolio, Kyndryl helps customers implement Zero Trust architectures and accelerate segmentation strategies that improve operational resilience.

Kyndryl’s global teams are certified to deploy and manage Illumio solutions, supporting efficient integration and ongoing support. Through this collaboration, Kyndryl can help customers scale breach containment efforts with confidence and agility.
