Avaya Canada president Ross Pellizzari says Canada is a growth engine for the unified communications and networking vendor. And that engine still has a lot of room for tuning up.
Just months into his new job, Pellizzari said Avaya Canada is coming off a quarter where it was “tops in the world within Avaya” in terms of performance. But there’s still a lot of room to grow – the former Avaya and Nortel businesses were still significantly larger than the combined company is today.
ChannelBuzz.ca sat down with Pellizzari and new Canadian channel chief Renzo Dipasquale at the company’s 2011 Americas Partner Conference in Las Vegas to discuss the company’s growth plans for Canada, as well as the switch from volume to value in its channel program; its goal of getting closer to its partners; and where it sees the need for new partnerships.
