Kaseya International Ltd., a provider of managed services solutions, is releasing the first product born out of its acquisition of RoverApps earlier this year: the Kaseya BYOD Suite, which enables the management of corporate data and applications on employee-owned devices without compromising user resources.
The Kaseya BYOD Suite takes a containerization approach to BYOD management. By creating a segregated portion on the mobile device’s hard drive, enabling managed service providers and systems administrators to configure, manage and access business data and applications without touching personal assets.
“More and more organizations are looking to implement BYOD policies to drive cost savings and employee satisfaction,” said Kaseya CEO Yogesh Gupta. “This raises major new challenges for both corporate security and the balance between employee data privacy and corporate data control. The Kaseya BYOD Suite elegantly solves both of these challenges, offering IT organizations an easy-to-administer solution that provides IT peace of mind that critical corporate data is secure, while keeping employees happy.”
Kaseya was among the first managed services tools vendors to embrace mobile device management when it began supporting Apple Inc.’s iPhone administration in 2009. The new RoverApps-based tool is part of an ongoing evolution by Kaseya to provide partners and customers with greater capabilities through the automation of IT resources.
Kaseya has been realigning its development operations centers, consolidating resources in central locations to expedite product development and improve service enablement support. The rapid release of Kaseya BYOD Suite, along with other recent releases, reflect’s the management team’s mandate to resolve lingering performance issues in the existing Kaseya portfolio and develop new products to facilitate growth.
