Cisco Systems’ most recent quarterly results were a tale of hot and cold: while some areas – most notably its Unified Computing Systems line of data centre servers – grew by multiples of hundreds of percentage points, other areas (routing and switching) drew Wall Street’s ire for their lackluster performance.
ChannelBuzz.ca caught up with Cisco Canada Nitin Kawale at the company’s Cisco Partner Summit 2011 conference in New Orleans recently, to discuss those issues, as well as the sustainability of its growth in the data centre and its positioning of its competitors as commoditizers of the network.
Kawale also addresses the number one he gets from partners, as well as his own number one request of partners.
Check out the video after the jump. Also, be sure to check out part one of our video interview, where Kawale addresses the company’s growth in the Canadian market and the need for Canada to step up its game when it comes to productivity.
