Komprise, which sells entirely through the channel, has been growing their footprint by 600 per cent in existing customers, and last year doubled their revenues every quarter.
In addition to expanding their capability for the customer to access file data in object clouds, Komprise announced support for NetApp Cloud Volumes ONTAP.

The new functionality adds a task-based capability to Komprise’s long-term use cases, and since it uses the same engine as those cases, Komprise is not charging extra for it.
Being named an Advanced Tier partner deepens the joint sales relationship between Komprise and AWS, provides access to co-marketing funds, and gives them a dedicated AWS partner manager.
Komprise adds full lifecycle management abilities, as well as the ability to confine defined data to make it invisible without deleting it, and the ability to build custom queries.
Veteran channels leader Zach Edwards was brought in by Komprise to design the new program, and improve Komprise’s support to its channel, which is their entire route to market.
Komprise has expanded the Dell EMC solutions they work with reacting to customer requests they support their mid-market line – which could wind up being rebranded.
Komprise is just beginning to establish itself in Canada, and is seeing interest from significant customers. They sell entirely through partners, and are looking to recruit some strong ones in Canada.
