Intronis is now Intronis MSP Solutions by Barracuda. They have also leveraged Barracuda’s hardware to provide an appliance option for partners, the Barracuda Backup – Intronis MSP Edition
Details of the integration, such as whether Intronis will be an independent subsidiary, have not been finalized, but Barracuda says they are committed to have a dedicated MSP business, with Intronis at the core of that.
The changes include increased revenue requirements for all tiers, which break up what had become a top-heavy distribution of partners in a program where advancement was too easy, and permit proper incents of Barracuda’s most valuable partners.
