Ivanti Asset Manager Cloud moves the functionality of the old Asset Central on-prem solution to the cloud, and adds new enhancements and customer design capabilities, although existing Asset Central customers will not be forced to migrate.
The new version of Ivanti Automation [acquired last year from RES] is the first that is fully integrated with the other Ivanti solutions, while Ivanti Unified Endpoint Manager, brings together the old Landesk Endpoint Manager and the Ivanti Environment Manager Policy, a former AppSense product.
Ivanti also completes the integration of their partner program, adding partners from the Shavlik and RES Software programs into the mix, and brings additional resources on board to work with partners.
Ivanti had just begun to OEM the technology, and now will be able to integrate it fully, which the company says will provide multiple benefits to their channel.
LANDESK had been working on rebranding itself for nine months, and the bringing together of the company with HEAT Software into Ivanti provides an ideal opportunity to create a brand – and a strategy around it – to cross-market and cross-sell all the company’s solutions.
