It’s been about half a year since David De Abreu took over as vice president in charge of Cisco Canada’s partner organization, the company’s de facto channel chief. De Abreu took over for former channel chief Mike Ansley, who was moved to heading up business markets for the company.

I caught up with De Abreu recently at Cisco Canada’s Toronto headquarters. In this far-ranging video interview, we discuss his background with Cisco, his time so far as the company’s channel chief, and what Cisco Canada believes is in store for 2014 for its  channel partners.
