Dell has had an endpoint security partnership with Cylance, and that remains in effect, but this new one around Dell SafeGuard and Response solutions is considerably deeper and becomes the jewel in Dell’s endpoint security crown.
Dell EMC has announced a new data protection bundle which at this point is basically an unintegrated sales bundle with multiple consoles. They are already working on plans to change that however, and bring more technically integrated solutions cutting across multiple brands to market.
Dell adds Cylance’s artificial intelligence-based technology, which has a very high success rate in stopping malware from executing, to its Dell Data Protection endpoint security solution.
Dell also previewed a new integrated management of Dell Networking X-Series switches through the Dell SonicWALL firewall interface through a single pane of glass, which will be available in 2016.
