Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference this week in Toronto was the first opportunity for many of the company’s Canadian solution provider partners to meet the new president of Microsoft Canada, Max Long.

And although the Canadian contingent at WPC was more than double its previous record – more than 1,000 Canadian partners made it out this year – that still represents a small portion of the company’s base of partners in this country.

I had the chance to sit down with Long and discuss hosting WPC, his plans and goals for Microsoft Canada, and get a little bit of a feel for what Canadian partners should expect from Microsoft Canada under his leadership.
