Comodo is recruiting partners who are prepared to make a deeper commitment to the company and supporting them through the program, while leveraging distribution for the first time ever to support much larger numbers of more transactional partners.
Comodo has offered a free version, Comodo Dome Shield, which will continue as Comodo Dome Shield Gold, but they expect that most of their customers will upgrade to the paid Platinum version because it has more functionality and no monthly limits on DNS requests.
Comodo had an extensive hoster and MSP channel before being acquired, and the new leadership team brought in by Francisco Partners will be expanding the channel, especially among enterprise resellers with vertical focus, and into the Internet of Things.
