Last year, Sophos brought its anti-ransomware CryptoGuard technology from their Intercept X endpoint solution onto their server product, but now the server solution has been rebranded and fully infused with the full capabilities of Intercept X.
Sophos integrates its email solution with their Sophos Central cloud platform, and with their Synchronized Security cross-product collaboration capabilities are able to bring their deep learning functionality to their email.
Sophos also introduced Project Darwin, their initiative to integrate the machine learning technology they acquired with Invincea last year, and which has been limited to their Intercept X solution, into their broader Synchronized Security offering.
Technology from last year’s Invincea acquisition by Sophos gives Intercept X massively scalable machine learning, which far exceeds the number of data sets machine learning has traditionally processed.
The channel integration plans are of particular interest given that Invincea had been featuring some innovative aspects in their channel program before Sophos acquired them
Invincea’s next-gen machine learning-based X by Invincea has been on the market for seven months, and now they have designed an appropriately named Next-Gen Partner Program to help partners sell it.
