Pure Storage unveils AIRI Mini as ‘game changer’ to democratize AI in the enterprise

AIRI Mini is a joint engineering initiative between Pure and NVIDIA that provides an AI-focused solution with much less compute capability than AIRI, announced in March. It thus has a much lower entry point, and the companies think it will lead to strong interactions between infrastructure teams and data scientists.

Tech Data looks to grow Oracle business by adding Oracle universal cloud credits to StreamOne

Oracle introduced universal cloud credits for their IaaS and PaaS services last fall to both assist on-prem customers transition to the cloud and expand their market. Tech Data making the credits available on their StreamOne marketplace is designed to help here, and is likely to add new partners to Oracle’s channel.

Dell EMC announces hyper-converged, hybrid cloud upgrades

In addition to upgrades to VxRail, VxRack SDDC, both their Enterprise and Native hybrid clouds, and new turnkey VMware Ready Systems for ‘do it yourself’ cloud deployments, Dell EMC also announced GA for XtemIO X2 and an upgrade of their Dell Data Protection Suite for Applications.
