QuickVid: Synnex’s Stegner on $100m goal, Varnex in Canada

LAS VEGAS – When Synnex North American marketing SVP Bob Stegner announced on Monday that the distributor is aiming to pump an additional $100 million in profitability into the Varnex community over the next 18 months, he was clear that didn’t mean price drops or additional discounts for group members.

I caught up with him Tuesday afternoon at the event here to discuss where the extra margins will come from.

Along with discussing where he expects to find those $100 million extra dollars of profitability, Stegner offers his thoughts on the year one experience for Varnex in Canada, and weighs in on whether the group will continue to with two North America-wide events every year or eye one North American get-together and split Canadian and US events.
